Portfolio Scan

Spot drifts before they cost you

Changing business activities, new sites, tacit renewals: your portfolio is constantly evolving, and the gap between it and the underwritten risk needs to be measured. The Portfolio Scan reviews your entire portfolio and provides you with a concise, verified and traceable list. Your underwriters make decisions before the policy expiry date.

Exclusions identified in the existing portfolio, addressed before the renewal date

“For instance, we identified a nightclub that was insured as a restaurant and tradespeople who had under-reported their turnover.”

What changes between two review periods

Your existing portfolio evolves faster than the review cycles

Most tools stop at the bind. However, the risk continues to evolve: the policyholder starts a side-business, acquires a site, or renews tacitly. A sample review covers a few dozen policies; reviewing the entire portfolio changes what you see. Year after year, that gap widens. It is called the Risk Debt, and that is precisely what Continuity can help you control.

15%

of your portfolio no longer matches your risk appetite.

0.5–1%

of policies contain a critical misclassification of business line or exposure.

€9 million

a single claim arising from a misclassified business line; these risks can account for up to 2 percentage points of the combined ratio.

How it works

Four steps.
You make the final call

Data extraction from your management system and your guidelines. No data collection campaigns, no requests to your distribution networks. Your rules are modelled exactly as they are written.

Management system Guidelines & exclusions External data ISO 27001 · SOC 2

Each policy is cross-referenced against the policyholder's current activity and your ongoing rules. Any change at the policyholder's end is reported immediately, without having to wait for the contract renewal. Secondary sites and imprecise addresses are identified in the process: your aggregate exposure becomes actionable for both pricing and reinsurance purposes.

Actual activity Sites & buildings Versioned rules

You don't need a stream of alerts. The platform flags the policies that deserve your time, categorised by risk. Before a renewal campaign, the portfolio is segmented into three categories: to be renewed, to be reviewed by an underwriter, and to be renegotiated. For each, the relevant rule, the measured deviation, the source and the date are recorded.

Prioritisation by risk Evidence & source Traceability

We do not cancel anything; we do not set premiums. The Scan documents the discrepancy. Technical, commercial and decision-making remains the responsibility of your team. Every action is logged so that the technical and risk management departments have an auditable trail.
